We still have some paper presentation slots available for our 79th CDDA AGM and Convention; so we have extended the deadline to be included in the official registration package.
We invite all industry professionals to share their knowledge and contribute towards the goal of providing our members with the tools for success by promoting safety, standards and innovation at the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association 79th AGM and Convention. The event will take place from May 5-7, 2024 at the Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This convention provides a platform for attendees to gather, network, and exchange expertise on diamond drilling practices. We are now accepting submissions for papers to be presented during our technical sessions.
The Deadline to submit is February 29, 2024.
Key Presentation Topics include but are not limited to:
- High-risk hazards specific to diamond drilling
- Workplace well-being and mental health
- Safety culture, emergency preparedness and management systems
- Research and innovation
- Diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
- New and changing health and safety regulations
Please be advised that we specifically request presentations that do not have a sales-oriented focus. Our aim is to foster informative and educational sessions for our members. If you wish to provide a sales-pitch, this year at our convention we will be offering all members who register for a trade show booth the opportunity to give a 5-10 minute sales pitch to our members.

We thank you for your contribution to promoting safety, standards and innovation in the industry.
