At this year’s convention, the CDDA is offering an optional Golf Day at the Grand Niagara Golf Course – September 26th 2021.

Grand Niagara is ranked as the best public golf course in the Niagara region. The course captivates and challenges players of all levels. It’s a gentle 5,737 yards from the forward tees and a daunting 7,425 yards from the championship tees. Bordered by the picturesque Welland River, Grand Niagara echoes the ambience of the world’s classic courses.

Start: from 10:30 am (Off No 1 tee @ 10-minute intervals) may change to shot gun depending on restrictions at that time.

Cost:
$130.00/per player
Includes golf/ride/range for 18-holes

Grab/Go Lunch-thru the turn or once play is concluded-, all players will receive a token valid for hamburger or hot dog with choice of soft drink or GN Draft beer

Rental Clubs- (IMPORTANT)

A limited number of clubs are available for rent at Grand Niagara. Extra sets can be arranged with proper notice.

77th AGM and Convention- Keynote Speaker

The CDDA is proud to announce this years Keynote Speaker, Doug Smith, presenting “The Building Blocks of Mental Performance – Experiencing System438”

Doug Smith, author of “The Trauma Code” & “Thriving in Transition”, is a thought leader on the impact of workplace induced emotional trauma. An accomplished keynote speaker & communicator, Doug presents a trauma management model he developed (System438) to address trauma and maximize human performance.

Doug provides his clients with both understanding of and messaging on, the impact of workplace culture on mental health and performance. Doug’s clients are able to use this understanding and messaging to the benefit of their employees and the performance of their organization.

An elite athlete at 18, Doug was the 1st Round draft pick of the Los Angeles Kings and played 607 professional games before a broken neck and spinal cord injury ended his career. Doug understands the impacts of workplace culture, the process of trauma recovery and the rebuilding of personal and business performance because he has been there.

The CDDA Trade shows offers suppliers, manufacturers, trainers, exploration companies and other organizations the opportunity to promote the latest products, technology, and services at our convention attended both national and international industry leaders, suppliers, manufacturers, trainers and other organizations. It is a unique opportunity to access and network with the greatest influences in the diamond drilling industry.

Optional booths can remain open during lunch hours, core shack hours and breaks for more access to promote and network.
