Louise

Executive Director

Louise has worked for the CDDA for over 20 years. She is responsible for the leadership and management of the association in accordance with the yearly strategic plan set in partnership with the CDDA Board of Directors.

Louise is responsible for adhering to the association’s daily activities; directing and overseeing the CDDA budget, forging and maintaining relations with trusted partners and members, promoting the association’s mission and voice in the industry, curating annual events, tradeshows, and association fundraisers.

Louise has an influential voice within the diamond drilling industry and sits on various committees including the Association for Mineral Exploration (AME), Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) and Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MIHR).

Ashley

Membership Services Coordinator

Ashley Gauvin is the Membership Services Coordinator at the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association (CDDA) and is responsible for providing excellent member services. She manages various responsibilities, including planning and coordinating member communications, managing the employment opportunity portal, facilitating meetings, maintaining records and preparing reports, as well as maintaining the organization’s website and social media. Ashley assists with managing membership communications, assists in planning and implementing the AGM and Convention, and maintains safety stats and awards. Her role is essential to the success of the CDDA and ensures that its members receive the support and opportunities necessary to achieve their goals in the industry.

NOHFC Intern

Owen Mancari is the NOHFC Intern this year with the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association. He was born and raised here in North Bay. He attended Georgian College and graduated from their Sport Administration Program in 2023 where he learned to plan, organize, lead and market several events created by a company or organization. He is very excited to be part of the CDDA and is eager to learn and help out in anyway he can.
