The Canadian Diamond Drilling Association is proud to announce our newest CDDA Member Forage Val D’Or.
Founded in 1987 by Mario Gilbert, this family-owned business is one of the oldest drilling companies in Quebec. Forage Val D’Or specializes in surface diamond drilling and also manufactures and retails core racks.
Mario Gilbert’s son, David Gilbert, is continuing his father’s legacy after recently taking over as head of the company. David has more than 20 years of experience in the field as well as 5 years in management.
Forage Val D’Or’s fleet features skid-mounted hydraulic drills, portable heli-drills, and various other heavy machinery; all maintained in top condition. They also provide helicopter services for project visits before, during, and after operations.
With a history spanning more than 37 years, Forage Val-D’Or has established partnerships with many exploration and mining companies.
As a member of the AEMQ and CDDA, the company is on track to obtain ECOLOGO certification and is planning a partnership with a CREE First Nation in the near future.
Forage Val d’Or’ is in the work of launching a new website this spring and the CDDA will be sure to share it with our members when it is launched.
The CDDA would like to ask all of our members to join us in formally welcoming Forage Val d’Or to the CDDA; we look forward to this partnership and thank you for joining the CDDA and fostering your commitment to safety and standards.
