The CDDA would like you to join in welcoming our new CDDA member Orano Canada Inc. Orano Canada and its predecessor companies have been exploring for uranium, developing uranium mines and producing uranium concentrate since 1964 — that’s over 50 years! Throughout their history, they have primarily operated within northern Saskatchewan with several exploration projects located elsewhere in Canada, such as Alberta and Nunavut. Orano Canada’s executive team brings a wealth of industrial, mining and research experience, and knowledge to the company.
The strength of the CDDA and of the industry is directly dependent on membership; a strong, united voice lends credence to negotiation with governmental agencies, helping to ensure a vibrant and productive drilling and exploration industry in Canada. The CDDA has its finger on the pulse of the industry. We deal with governmental departments and agencies, both to keep you abreast of the latest regulatory changes affecting your industry lobby governments as well as to lobby for the well-being of the mineral industry in Canada.
